Your AI-built app is stuck at 80%? We'll fix it.

You got a long way with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, or Cursor. Then auth broke, the database rules blocked real users, or the deploy failed. We fix the agreed problem, test it, and push it back to your repo.

What we take on

Common problems we fix

Eight things we see over and over. If yours is on this list, we already know the shape of the fix.

  • Login & auth broken

Sessions drop, or the user cannot stay signed in.

  • Payments not working

Checkout finishes, but the account never updates.

  • Deploy fails

The preview works and the production build does not.

  • Database errors

Rules block the owner, or the tables are wide open.

  • Slow / crashing app

Pages wait on too many queries, or the app dies.

  • Security holes

Anyone with the link can read or change the data.

  • API keys exposed

Secret keys sit in the repo or the client bundle.

  • Mobile layout broken

It works on a laptop and falls apart on a phone.

The process

How it works

Four steps. You can see what we can see, and you can take the access away when we are done.

  1. 01

    Share access

Send a GitHub repo, a Lovable or Bolt export, or a Supabase project. Invite us with a role you can revoke. Do not email passwords or secret keys.

  2. 02

    We diagnose

We reproduce the problem and tell you what is actually wrong, in plain language, before we change more than the job needs.

  3. 03

    We fix and test

We fix the agreed scope, test the path a real user takes, and push the change to your repo.

  4. 04

    Handover notes

You get short notes: what changed, how to run it, and anything we deliberately left alone.

Pricing

Fixed prices. No hourly bill.

You pick the scope before we start. Prices are in USD. Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page, not on this site.

One bug

Quick Fix

$79

One specific bug. We reproduce it, fix it, test it, and push the change to your repo.

Aimed at 48 hours once we have access and a clear description of that one bug.

  • One bug we name before we start
  • The fix committed to your repo
  • A short note on what changed

Start here

Checkup & Triage

$299

A written health report on security, auth, and performance, plus a fix plan in priority order.

The right first step when you know the app is stuck and you cannot name the single bug.

  • Review of auth, data rules, and the deploy
  • Performance problems we can see without a rewrite
  • A prioritized plan you can act on

For a real launch

Launch-Ready

$1,499

We make the current app production-ready and deployed, then hand you notes a developer can follow.

This covers the blockers to launching the app you already have. It is not a new product and not a rewrite.

  • Fixes required to launch the current app
  • A production deploy
  • Handover notes for you or the next developer

The studio

Why DevDec

DevDec is a Mississauga studio. We have designed and built web and mobile products for 14 years, including the auth, data, and deploy work these tools now leave half finished.

Rescue is that same team, on a fixed price, for a smaller job. See the kind of products we ship, then decide if you want us in the repo.

Before you pay

Questions before you pay

Straight answers on scope, access, rewrites, timing, and refunds.

What does each price cover?

Quick Fix covers one bug we both name before work starts. It does not include a second bug, a new feature, or a redesign. Checkup & Triage covers a written report on security, auth, and performance, and a prioritized fix plan. It does not include doing every fix in that plan. Launch-Ready covers the work to make the current app production-ready and deployed. Anything outside the tier you paid for is quoted separately, and we wait for a yes before we do it.

How do access and security work?

We need a way into the project: a GitHub invite, a Lovable or Bolt export, or a Supabase invite. Use a role you can remove. We use that access only to diagnose and fix this job. Do not send passwords, private keys, or production secrets by email. When we hand the work back, remove our access. If you would rather not invite us to the original repo, we can work from a copy you control.

What if the app needs a rewrite?

We will say so. A checkup is often how that becomes clear, and you still get the report. On Launch-Ready, if a rebuild is the honest path, we stop, explain why, and do not keep building a rewrite you did not buy. A rewrite is a separate project with its own scope and price.

How long does it take?

Quick Fix is aimed at 48 hours after we have access and a clear description of the one bug. Checkup & Triage usually takes a few business days. Launch-Ready depends on what we find, and we confirm a timeline after we have looked. If access is late, or the problem sits outside the agreed scope, that 48-hour aim does not start until those are resolved.

What is the refund policy?

If we cannot reproduce the agreed Quick Fix bug, or we cannot fix it, we refund the Quick Fix fee. The checkup fee pays for the report. If we deliver the report, that fee stands. If we do not deliver it, we refund the checkup fee. For Launch-Ready, work we have already finished and handed over is not refunded. If we stop early because the app needs a rewrite, or because we cannot do the job we sold, we refund the share of the fee for work we did not do.
