App Development Company in the GTA
DevDec
DevDec is an app development company for the Greater Toronto Area. Junal Rahman founded the studio in 2012. It is at 6 Come by Chance Mews, Mississauga, ON L5N 1J8. Clients meet there, or the team goes to them.
Clutch lists DevDec at 5.0 from 20 reviews.
Where the work comes from
Toronto and North York teams usually show up with a product: a first version of a mobile app, or a service that has outgrown a spreadsheet. ImmiTrack is that shape of release, a Canada immigration app with tracking, a countdown, expert answers, and custom news.
Mississauga is the studio. Etobicoke clients are the next stretch east, and those meetings are usually at the studio rather than in a second office. The Mississauga studio takes the same kind of product work when the company is local.
Brampton companies in food production and freight, and Vaughan warehouses along the 400 and 407, usually need the system a shift already runs. Burrito Boyz is the published version: inventory, prep, and a distribution hub for restaurants across Ontario.
Oakville brings manufacturing records and head-office tools along the QEW. Markham and Richmond Hill are the companies north of the 407 who want the same people in the room for the design review and the launch.
How an engagement runs
The first meeting names the user, the job the product has to do, and what is out of scope. A proposal that skips that list is how a three-month build becomes a nine-month argument.
Separate the product from the operation
A customer-facing app and the system staff use all day are designed as two surfaces when they are two jobs. MyHealth+ stores health records and reminders for people moving countries. Burrito Boyz is the kitchen and the warehouse. They do not share a homepage.
Ship the release someone can run
iOS, Android, or the web admin, whichever the first users already have. Go Rent Me connects tenants and landlords with search and management tools. The second platform waits until that release is actually in use.
Leave notes the next person can follow
You get where the data lives, who can deploy, and what was left alone. The next version is a new scope, not an open invoice.
Shipped work
Products and operations systems from the studio. They show the size of the work, not a promise that the client sits in a particular city.

Questions
Will you meet at our office?
Yes. Working sessions are at the Mississauga studio or at your office. The people in the meeting are the people who design and build the product.
Can one engagement include the customer app and the system behind it?
When they are one product, yes. A consumer app and a multi-site inventory system are often two products, and we quote them that way. Go Rent Me is a customer app with landlord tools. Burrito Boyz is the operation itself: prep, inventory, and distribution.
What if an AI tool already built the app and it is stuck?
That is Rescue: a fixed price for auth, data, deploys, payments, or a slow page. A new product is a separate quote. We will say which one you are holding after we see the repo.
Which platforms do you ship?
iOS, Android, and the web admin a business actually needs. We pick the surface the first users already have. A second platform waits until that release is in use.
