Software and AI Development Company in Brampton
DevDec
DevDec is a software and AI development company that Brampton teams hire when the work has to survive a real shift, not a demo. The studio is at 6 Come by Chance Mews, Mississauga, ON L5N 1J8, phone (647) 895-3832. DevDec was founded there in 2012 by Junal Rahman. There is no second office. Northwest Mississauga sits directly south of Brampton, so kickoffs and design reviews happen at the studio or at the client's site in Brampton.
Work we see from Brampton
Brampton is not a smaller Toronto. The companies that call are usually moving goods, making food, or running a service business that outgrew a spreadsheet.
Freight, yards, and warehouses
The CN intermodal terminal and the industrial blocks around Steeles, Airport Road, and the 410 are a large part of how goods enter the rest of the country. The software those firms actually need is appointments, inventory positions, and a clear exception when a load is wrong. A marketing site does not fix that.
Food production and multi-site supply
Brampton has a dense belt of food manufacturers and suppliers that feed restaurants and retailers. The useful system tracks lots, prep, and what each location still has. That is the same shape of problem as the Burrito Boyz platform, which we built for restaurants across Ontario. It is not a claim that those restaurants are in Brampton.
Owner-run service businesses
Trades, clinics, and retailers in Brampton often run on a shared inbox and one person who knows the real process. An app for their customers only helps if the back office is part of the same build. We scope those together, or we say which half should wait.
How a Brampton engagement runs
Most of the build happens at the Mississauga studio. The parts that require the people who do the work happen in the room with them.
Walk the workflow
We sit with the person who runs the floor, the dispatch desk, or the kitchen line and write down the steps the spreadsheet is hiding. A remote questionnaire is a poor substitute for that hour.
Draw one boundary
One plant, one fleet, or one brand. We do not start by redrawing the whole company. If the second site has different rules, those rules are written down and scheduled, not guessed.
Build the screen the shift will open
Fewer screens, the numbers the team already trusts, and a role for the manager. AI is added only where someone is retyping or matching the same kind of item all day.
Roll the next site out after the first one is in use
A tool that works in a conference room and fails on a Tuesday morning is not finished. The next location waits until the first site is actually using it.
Related work, not local logos
DevDec has not published a case study that names a Brampton headquarters. These are shipped systems with a similar shape. Read them as examples of the work, not as Brampton clients.
Burrito Boyz Ecosystem
Inventory, prep, and a distribution hub for restaurants across Ontario. Relevant to food operations that run more than one site.
QRP+
A shift-booking product for hiring relief pharmacists and technicians across Canada. Relevant to a staffing desk, not to a pharmacy in Brampton specifically.
Sign N Drive
A vehicle browse, auto-loan, and purchase flow. Relevant to auto retail, which is common along Brampton industrial roads. The project page does not place the client in Brampton.
Questions from Brampton
Does DevDec have an office in Brampton?
No. The studio is at 6 Come by Chance Mews in northwest Mississauga, south of Brampton. Meetings are at that studio or at your site in Brampton. We do not rent a Brampton storefront or route you to a call centre.
Can you replace the paper or spreadsheet our warehouse already uses?
Yes, when the workflow is real and bounded. We start from the columns your team already trusts. Custom software for that kind of operation is described on the custom software page. A brand-new consumer app is a different project.
Do you build the customer app and the back office together?
When they are one product, yes. When they are two products, we say so and quote them separately. Owner-run Brampton businesses often need both, and pretending they are one screen is how the first release fails.
How do we book a meeting?
Use the quote form at devdec.ca/get-quote, call (647) 895-3832, or email contact@devdec.com. Say whether you want the first meeting at the Mississauga studio or at your Brampton location.
