Challenge

The primary hurdle was transforming fragmented, high-volume data into proactive, actionable safety insights. DevDec had to engineer a system that could not only identify products via multi-modal visual scanning (barcodes and photos) but also predict future risks using complex historical patterns. Balancing real-time, location-specific scam alerts with individual user health profiles—such as specific allergy triggers—required a sophisticated backend architecture capable of processing diverse data streams without sacrificing mobile performance or accuracy.

Solution

We addressed these complexities by developing a custom AI-driven architecture that powers both the predictive recall engine and automated scam summarization. By leveraging advanced computer vision for dual-mode product identification and a high-performance filtering logic for allergy matching, we created a seamless, life-saving user experience.
